Tayview Primary School, Dundee

Dovetail was delighted to be awarded the contract for the supply of internal doorsets and glazed screens for the new Tayview Primary School. Working with Robertson Tayside this high profile local school project allowed Dovetail to demonstrate manufacturing skills at the highest level.

The project with in excess of 200 doorsets, made up of both fire rated and non-fire rated, plus glazed screens, was competitively tendered for and successfully won by Dovetail.

On-time delivery and the ability to react to the unforeseen is crucial when undertaking a new build project. The close working relationship formed on this project between Dovetail as the manufacturer and in particular the site manager for Robertson Tayside ,was fundamental in achieving successful completion and was a real demonstration of collaborative working.

For Dovetail it was a pleasure working with Robertson Tayside on this Scape project, in particular, as it was a local school. As a result of the successful delivery of this project Dovetail look forward to the realisation of future opportunities that may come as a result of the relationship built

This project is one of just many that Dovetail have worked on with Dundee City Council demonstrating the extensive range of products that can be manufactured for local authority use.

Working on this project once again demonstrated the skills of the Dovetail team and the important role it has in providing employment and training opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged members of society.
